Konnect Me controls any computer from anywhere — from a smartphone, laptop, or desktop. We will now go through every button in the app. This is Konnect Me. On the left, you see your own computer; on the right, you connect to other devices. At the top is the Konnect Me logo — the app runs on Windows, macOS, and Android. Under 'Your Desktop' you will find everything others need to connect to your computer. The 'ID' is your computer's permanent number. Give this number to someone when you need help. Use the three dots next to the ID to open more options, such as settings. The 'One-time password' changes automatically. This way, no one can connect a second time without permission. Use the arrow icon to generate a new one-time password immediately. Use the pen icon to set your own password. In the 'Status' field, Konnect Me reports whether everything is ready — or if a new version is available. With 'Click to upgrade' you can install the update with a single click.

The 'Control Remote Desktop' area is your starting point for every remote session. The question mark explains how the connection works. Enter the ID of the other computer here. Use 'Connect' to start the session. The partner confirms or you enter their password — done. The small arrow next to it opens other connection types. These connection types are available to choose from. Use 'Transfer file' to send files back and forth between both computers — without remote control. 'View camera' shows the image from the other device's camera, for example for monitoring. 'Terminal' opens a command line on the remote computer — ideal for IT.
Geräte-ListenVerlauf, Favoriten, AdressbuchAlle Geräte im BlickZuletzt genutzt, Favoriten, Netzwerk, Adressbuch und Ihre Geräte. Below, you see your devices, sorted into five lists. The clock shows the most recently connected devices — for quick reconnection. The star collects your favorites. The compass finds Konnect Me devices on your local network. The address book saves all your team's devices in one place. Here you see all devices your account is allowed to access. Use the magnifying glass to search for a device by name or ID. Use this icon to select multiple devices at once. Switch between tile and list view here. Each tile is a device: name, ID, and a dot showing if it is currently online. The three dots open the device menu: connect, send file, rename, or add to favorites. The status bar at the bottom shows that Konnect Me is ready. Favorites: Devices you use often end up here. Still empty — click the star on a tile to add a device. Network search automatically shows all Konnect Me devices on the same network. As soon as a device is found on the network, it appears here. You can share the address book with your entire team. Use 'Login' to sign in — after that, your address book is available on every computer. Use these icons to search, refresh, sort, and tag entries. All devices assigned to your account are listed here. After 'Login', you will see these devices immediately.

Under 'Other', you will find additional options. Konnect Me will ask for confirmation before closing multiple tabs. The remote session toolbar can be docked to any edge of the window. The image quality automatically adjusts to your internet connection. During incoming sessions, the wallpaper is hidden — this saves bandwidth. Every new connection opens in its own tab. Texture rendering ensures a smoother image. Optionally, Konnect Me uses D3D graphics acceleration from Windows. With 'Auto update', the app stays up to date automatically. The screen is captured via DirectX — fast and efficient. UDP hole punching establishes direct connections even through firewalls. Direct connections also work via IPv6. During outgoing sessions, your screen stays awake. At the end of a connection, you can leave a note, for example for documentation purposes. A button in the toolbar switches between multiple monitors.

Here you set whether the one-time password has 6, 8, or 10 characters. If desired, the one-time password can consist only of digits. A permanent password is practical for unattended access to servers and POS systems. Use 'Set permanent password' to define this permanent password. Or you can allow both passwords simultaneously. Two-factor authentication additionally requires a code from your smartphone. Use 'Change ID' to give your computer its own, easy-to-remember ID. At the very bottom are further security rules. Existing Windows remote desktop sessions may be shared. Your computer will not be shown on the local network. Direct access via IP address is allowed. With the IP whitelist, only authorized addresses can connect. Sessions end automatically if the visitor is inactive. Your screen stays awake during incoming sessions.
