Home ScreenGreeting, Time, MenuThe real guest screenLive from our demo hotel — feel free to click around yourself at any time. This is the real Konnect TV guest screen — live from our demo hotel. We'll now go through every button and function. Your hotel's logo and name are at the top. Below that, the TV greets the guest by name and room number — automatically from the PMS. If no one is checked in, a general greeting appears. The time is the hotel's local time and is regularly synced with the server. Below that is the date — always in the guest's language. When first turned on, your personal welcome message appears with the guest's name. You can manage the text in the Dashboard for every language. This is the main menu. You decide which items appear and in what order in the Dashboard. The selected item is highlighted. On the Messages item, a red counter shows how many unread messages are waiting for the guest — it updates in real time. The background image, colors, font, and menu position — left, right, top, or bottom — all come from your theme.
Live TVGroups, Channel List, Search, Full ScreenTV just like at homeAll the hotel's channels — sorted, searchable, and ready to watch. Live TV opens all the hotel's channels. The current section is displayed at the top. Back takes you to the home screen — just like the back button on the remote. These are the channel groups: Sports, News, Movies, Kids, Music, Radio, and more. You create these groups yourself in the Dashboard. 'All' shows every channel at once. Radio stations are also included. While listening, the TV displays the station logo with dancing audio bars. This is the channel list: number, logo, name, and a short description for each channel. Your own info channels are at the very top — for example, a hotel welcome video. They play automatically first. The selected channel starts playing immediately. A small circle spins while it loads. Using the search, guests can find any channel in seconds — just type in the name. Press OK to go full screen. If no button is pressed for ten seconds, the list hides automatically. In full screen, the guest can change channels using the up and down arrow keys. A banner with the logo and name then appears at the top for three seconds. OK, Left, or Right brings back the channel list. Back exits the TV mode.
MoviesLibrary, Genres, Details, PlayerCinema in the roomYour movie library — with posters, genres, trailers, and its own player. Movies opens the movie library. Back takes you back step by step: first the search is cleared, then the genre, then it goes to the home screen. The section title is at the top, and the time is on the right. At the top, the TV features a movie — with an image, genre, and short description. You choose which movie to feature in the Dashboard. 'Watch Now' opens the movie's details page. 'Trailer' plays the preview immediately. With genres, guests can filter all rows at once: Action, Comedy, Drama, Family, and more. New genres from your library are added automatically. Below that are the rows: all titles, trends marked 'Hot', new releases, and a row for each genre. Each card shows the poster, title, genre, and year. The small badges show the runtime, movie language, and—for Pay-per-View—a special icon. Movies in the guest's language appear first automatically. Here is the details page: large image, genre, title, year, runtime, language, and age rating. Below is the full description of the movie. And—if available—director and cast. 'Watch Now' starts the movie in the full-screen player. 'Trailer' plays the preview in the same player. Back returns you to the movie selection. This is the movie player. The film starts immediately in full screen. At the bottom, guests see elapsed time and total runtime. Pressing Up selects the timeline, Left and Right scrub, and OK jumps. These buttons jump ten seconds back or forward. Pause stops the movie, and pressing it again resumes playback. Back exits the movie and returns to the details page. If a message arrives from the front desk, the audio briefly lowers.

'Back' goes to the previous step. 'Next' goes to the next step — the upcoming step is already shown below. This is what the next step looks like: important hotel information such as room card, telephone, reception, and beach. If a text is longer, the guest can scroll up and down. The title and the number of unread messages are shown at the top. Back takes you to the home screen. Each message shows the sender, category, time, and the beginning of the text. New messages from today are separated from older ones. With OK, the guest opens a message and reads it in a large font — completely, without being cut off. If the reception has provided a translation, the guest reads the message in their own language. A new message appears immediately — at the top of the list and as a notification on the screen, with a short sound. The reception sends them from the Dashboard or directly from Opera.

FlightsDeparture board, search, detailsEverything for your tripLive departures and arrivals — and every flight via search. Under Flights, the guest sees departures and arrivals at the nearest airport — live. Title and a short note at the top. The guest enters their flight number into this field. There is an on-screen keyboard with all letters and numbers for this. Clear empties the field and shows the board again; the backspace character deletes only the last character. Search shows all details for this flight. Back takes you to the home screen. On the right is the airport's live board. If you have set up multiple airports, the guest can switch between them at the top. Every flight with flight number, airline, route, time, and color-coded status: green for on time, yellow for delayed, red for cancelled, blue for landed. With OK on a flight, the guest sees everything in detail: airline, route, scheduled and expected time, delay, terminal, and gate.
Screen mirroringPhone to TVYour phone on the TVTwo QR codes — no app and no cables required. With Screen Mirroring, the guest displays content from their phone on the TV. Step one: This QR code connects the phone to your hotel Wi-Fi. Step two: This QR code connects the phone to this specific TV — a unique one for every room. As soon as the phone is connected, 'Phone connected' appears, and shortly after, the phone's screen fills the entire TV — with sound. The red 'Stop mirroring' button stops everything. If the connection drops, a new QR code appears automatically. Back ends mirroring and leads to the home screen.
Apps & KidsStreaming apps, Kids modeStreaming and FamiliesNetflix, YouTube, and more — plus a dedicated area for kids. The Apps section shows streaming services like YouTube, Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime Video, and Spotify. Other installed apps are added automatically. On Samsung TVs, the app starts directly by pressing OK — guests can then log in with their own account. Back takes you to the home screen. If a family with children is staying in the room, the TV can show a Kids Mode — protected by the parents' own password. Kids Mode features child-friendly movies, kids' channels, and cartoons. You can only exit with the password. And with the Kids Club camera, parents can watch their children live in the Kids Club — with an optional PIN.
